Energy consumption often accounts for 70-90% of the overall lifecycle costs (LCC) of compressed air production. Gardner Denver Variable Speed Drive compressors are designed to optimize energy consumption and ensure remarkable savings in LCC costs.

Compressed air demand can vary considerably and on the average only 50-70% of the compressor’s maximum capacity is used. With a standard compressor, this means repeated switching between on and off operation resulting in reduced efficiency and high energy consumption.
The VS Series compressors use proven frequency converter technology to control compressor capacity precisely in proportion to the air demand.

The compressor runs the air at the eXact RPM® to keep the set pressure level constant. This smart system adapts quickly to air demand changes and minimizes power consumption in all operating conditions.

The VS Series compressors are based on the standard Gardner Denver components, which makes them easy to maintain and service.

A specialized VS-Pilot all-in-one control system enables intelligent compressor adjustments and maximizes the energy savings benefits.

Unlike many other similar units on the market, the Gardner Denver VS compressors use standard electric motors and feature the advanced Gardner Denver oil separation system to ensure clean air throughout the range.
